Hannah Schiller
Once upon a time, I had a dream of being a Creative Director at an ad agency. I made it there way sooner than I expected and wouldn’t ya know? It’s not where I wanted to be. I knew there was something more: more meaningful, more exciting, more beautiful.
Enter Brackish: my dream of enabling you to achieve your dream.
I take a relational approach; drawing connections between people and the businesses that serve them, and insist on including humanity in every part of the process. I approach branding as art and am obsessed with the details: typography, color, and forms. I immerse myself in each project and company like it’s my own.
My goal is simple: to do every brand we work with justice. It’s an honor to reflect your vision through design.

Process

Once we agree on the type of engagement that works best for you, we jump in.
The first step of every project begins with a lot of listening. You’re the expert on your brand at this point, not us. So tell us all about it. Don’t worry, we’ll ask you a million questions.
This is the part where clients tell us it feels like brand therapy. So come prepared to do some work with us!

We’ll take the information we’ve learned and start synthesizing it into cohesive strategy. Design with no strategy to back it up is doomed to fail.
We’ll write up that strategy, pair it with visual inspiration, and talk about the plan moving forward.

The most exciting and most grueling part of the process is creating. I focus on immersing myself in your business, taking everything that we’ve discovered and putting together the pieces of design.
I (Hannah) lead the charge on design, creating custom letterforms, illustrations, or elements, exhausting all of my options until I land on what I believe to be the most aligned fit for your brand. I want your brand to be something that you can fully own.
We’ll walk you through a refinement process as needed, making sure that you’re proud to apply the designs in your business.

Once we’ve approved the core brand identity and created a brand guide, we can begin creating additional collateral, design elements, and finished deliverables that are ready for use.
